Blog Post No. 54 - The Fits of Full Count

Established in 1992, FULLCOUNT is a Japanese denim brand dedicated to crafting jeans of exceptional quality. From the beginning, their mission has been to revive the appreciation for well-made goods. FULLCOUNT believes that jeans hold a unique appeal—they evolve and develop character over time, aging alongside the person who wears them.

As of 2025 ButterScotch is thrilled to welcome this denim staple into the shop. We look forward to introducing all of you to the incredible pieces and authentic process they create for each and everyone of their items

For the first launch of Full Count I wanted to make sure there was a fit option for all. A wide, straight, and tapered fit. It kind of goes without saying but all 3 fits perform extremely well here at the shop so I wanted to make sure there was a fit for both the customers who have known about FC and for those of you it might be their first time seeing the brand and can are all about experiencing new brands.

Here are the 3 fits by style number to hopefully make it easier to remember..

0105 - Wide Leg

1101 - The Original Straight Leg

1110 - Tapered Leg

0105 – The Iconic Wide Straight

The 0105 is a slightly wide straight silhouette and represents the brand’s identity. Released in 1995, it was the first model to feature Zimbabwe cotton. It’s FULLCOUNT’s widest straight fit but slightly tapered from the knee down to avoid being too baggy.

1101 – The Original Straight

Released in 1993 when FULLCOUNT was founded, the 1101 is a plain straight cut. It’s the second widest in the lineup, with a gentle taper toward the hem. The fit is relaxed around the waist and thighs, making it easy to pair with tailored jackets.

1110 – Modern Tapered Fit

The 1110 stands out with its tapered, slim yet modern silhouette—not typically found in vintage denim. While slim, it has a moderately deep rise and slight room in the waist and thigh, offering stress-free comfort. This non-“Americana” silhouette matches well with mode-style items.
