Oak Street x ButterScotch - HiFi Trench Boot
The HiFi Trench Boot is a collaboration between ButterScotch and Oak Street Bootmakers.
Made from Horween's Smooth Black Chromexcel for 1 part dress and 1 part durability. We opted for the smooth black Chromexcel because it is a leather that looks great in any setting. Chromexcel is characterized by a rich pull-up in full aniline, hand-rubbed finish, superior comfort, and durability. Chromexcel was made famous by its patina—the unique character of each hide which comes to life with wear.
With the HiFi, it is the 6" Tall counterpart to our best selling LoFi Oxford. The LoFi was and is our first ever Oxford style built on the Trench (Elston) last. Since the Low profile and beautiful leather of the LoFi has been such a huge success for the shop we went back to our roots and crated a taller 6" lace up to compliment a Hi and Lo Version.
Cue the Black wedge Vibram Christy sole, something we have used countless times in the past, it provides All day comfort. The HiFi is a sleek and classic 6" boot made from leatehr that polishes to a high sheen or can take a beating and keep on going. The Horween CXL leather is a perfect leather for both those who like to play rough our want to keep is clean and simple.
The HiFi is good year welted so it can be re-crafted when its time for a new sole and features a 360 storm welt that is stained a deep rich espresso brown to give it a slight contrast between the smooth upper leather and black wedge sole. On the upper the HiFi features black tonal stitching and black hardware
Each pair ships with one flat black waxed lace and one black rolled leather lace. The HiFI is created from the Elston last Developed to embody the character of Chicago, the Elston last is engineered specifically for Everyday Boots, providing exceptional all-day comfort for nearly all foot types with a generous toe box.

SIZING
The HiFi on the Vibram sole runs about .5 big so be sure to size down a half size from your sneaker size.
