Viberg - Halkett Boot - Snuff Waxy Commander
The Halkett boot is a classic 6” derby boot made on the 2030 Last with a narrow lace lock.
This model is made in a gorgeous Snuff Waxy Commander and is by far some of the best footwear leather we've seen in the shop to date. It is heavily waxed and you can tell from first glance the potential of this leather as it wears in. You can choose to keep the boots waxed and oiled to keep the deep hues of browns left or wear them in a more daily routine and let the wearing process take over to expose a whole new look and feel to the waxed commander leather.
Due to the nature of this leather it is essentially a waxed rough-out leather and over time while the waxing top coat dissipates, the nep of the leather will become exposed showcasing a more rugged exterior. If you like the dark browns and smooth top coat rest assured the leather can be re-waxed to its almost original condition.
These are constructed on Viberg's best selling 2030 Last in a D width and uses the Ridgeway sole to provide a sleek profile while maintaining all day comfort of wear.
